H.O.P.E. Professional Development Offerings

Bring Hope to your Next Professional Development Day!

Why H.O.P.E?

Because your educators deserve more than training—they deserve transformation.
H.O.P.E. Professional Development empowers teams to reconnect with their purpose, build emotional resilience, and embed healing-centered, equity-rooted practices into everyday care.
It’s not just about learning—it’s about leading with empathy, joy, and impact.

Reducing Burnout, Increasing Well-Being

H.O.P.E. Professional Development centers the emotional health of educators—because when adults feel supported, children thrive.

By fostering reflection, co-regulation, and joy-centered practices, H.O.P.E. helps teams move from overwhelm to alignment. Educators gain tools to navigate stress, reconnect with their “why,” and cultivate a more sustainable, fulfilling work culture.

The result? Less burnout. More purpose. Stronger teams.

Why H.O.P.E. Professional Development Helps Children

 When educators grow, children flourish.

H.O.P.E. Professional Development equips teams with tools to respond with empathy, build co-regulated classrooms, and embed healing practices into daily routines. This leads to more connected relationships, consistent environments, and meaningful experiences for every child.

As adults deepen their understanding of behavior, emotional development, and positive experiences, children benefit from:

  • Increased emotional safety and trust

  • Fewer behavior challenges and more responsive support

  • Environments that celebrate identity and promote belonging

  • Opportunities to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically

Professional development isn’t just for adults—it’s a pathway to lifelong resilience for the children they serve.

H.O.P.E. Aligned Professional Development Offerings

H.O.P.E. 101

 2-Hour Professional Development Session

This foundational session introduces participants to the H.O.P.E. Framework (Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences)—a strengths-based, healing-centered model that reimagines how we support children, families, and ourselves in early care and education.

In this 2-hour interactive training, participants will:

  • Explore the science behind Positive Childhood Experiences (PCEs)

  • Learn about the Four Building Blocks of H.O.P.E.

  • Reflect on how everyday experiences shape resilience and well-being

  • Discover practical ways to begin applying HOPE in classrooms, programs, and communities

HOPE 101 is ideal for educators, caregivers, administrators, and support staff who are ready to move from burnout to belonging, and from managing behaviors to building connection.

This session plants the seed. What grows from here is transformation.

The Four Building Blocks of H.O.P.E.

 2-Hour Professional Development Session

This engaging session takes participants deeper into the Four Building Blocks of the H.O.P.E. Framework—offering practical tools to strengthen relationships, environments, engagement, and emotional growth within early care and education settings.

Participants will:

  • Explore each Building Block in depth:

    • Supportive Relationships

    • Safe, Equitable Environments

    • Engagement in Meaningful Activities

    • Opportunities for Emotional Growth

  • Reflect on how these protective factors show up in their daily work

  • Identify strengths and gaps in their current practices

  • Begin to envision how to embed H.O.P.E. into classroom culture, family partnerships, and team dynamics

This session is ideal for teams ready to go beyond theory and begin applying the science of positive experiences to create more connected, healing-centered spaces for children and adults alike.

Real change starts with what we build—together.

H.O.P.E. 201 : From Framework to Family – Implementing Positive Experiences in Practice

2-Hour Professional Development Session

This session bridges the gap between understanding the H.O.P.E. Framework and applying it meaningfully in daily interactions with children and families.

Participants will explore how to turn the Four Building Blocks of H.O.P.E. into everyday practices that foster trust, joy, and healing-centered relationships at home, in classrooms, and across programs.

In this hands-on, reflective session, participants will:

  • Learn how to recognize and create positive experiences for children and families

  • Apply HOPE-aligned strategies to strengthen family partnerships

  • Explore how to reframe behavior as communication through a HOPE lens

  • Identify concrete actions to build emotional safety and resilience into everyday routines

This session supports caregivers, educators, and administrators in translating insight into action—ensuring that the principles of HOPE are felt in every conversation, connection, and classroom moment.

From theory to touchpoint, this is where HOPE comes to life.

Blossoming Minds Series

4-Part Professional Development Series | 2 Hours Each

Centering the Science of HOPE, Self-Compassion, Play, and Awe

The Blossoming Minds Series is a four-part journey into the heart of emotional well-being, designed for early childhood professionals who are seeking to reconnect with their purpose, joy, and inner resilience.

Grounded in the Science of HOPE and aligned with growth mindset principles, this series invites educators and caregivers to reflect, recharge, and reimagine what’s possible when we lead from within—especially in times of challenge, fatigue, or change.

Each session highlights a key theme proven to protect against burnout and increase professional and emotional sustainability:

Session 1: The Science of HOPE

Explore how Positive Childhood Experiences (PCEs) and the HOPE Framework shape resilience—for both children and adults. Participants will reflect on their own experiences, identify protective factors, and begin to see HOPE as a mindset and method for care.

Session 2: Self-Compassion in Practice

Learn how self-compassion supports emotional regulation, reduces toxic stress, and increases presence. Participants will build tools for setting boundaries, honoring their inner world, and extending grace to themselves and others.

Session 3: Play as a Professional Practice

Rediscover play—not just as a developmental tool for children, but as a vital resource for creativity, stress relief, and connection among adults. Participants will explore play as a growth mindset practice that fosters flexibility and joy in daily work.

Session 4: Cultivating Awe and Everyday Wonder

Awe helps us zoom out, re-center, and access deeper meaning. In this closing session, participants will reflect on how moments of awe and beauty restore hope, inspire curiosity, and protect against compassion fatigue.

Why It Matters:

The Blossoming Minds Series isn’t just about learning—it’s about healing in community. These sessions help early childhood professionals deepen their emotional resilience, foster reflective habits, and create sustainable care practices rooted in joy, empathy, and possibility.

When we nurture ourselves, we create the conditions for children—and entire communities—to flourish.

Time Management & Balance Through HOPE

2-Hour Professional Development Session

This session blends practical time management strategies with the healing-centered lens of the H.O.P.E. Framework to help early childhood professionals reclaim their time, energy, and focus without sacrificing care or connection.

Participants will:

  • Reflect on how emotional regulation and relational demands impact time use

  • Identify personal and program-level stressors that create imbalance

  • Learn strengths-based tools for setting boundaries, prioritizing tasks, and restoring joy

  • Explore how Positive Experiences support sustainable rhythms for both children and adults

This is more than a scheduling workshop—it’s a path to balance, grounded in purpose.
